I saw this add in the Christian Standard not long ago: ”Sunday Church” — Well, that’s different. For a name, that is. “Nontraditional” — Might be a little scary? “Nondenominational” — Sounds good. That’s what we are, right? (We can talk about that word some other time. It carries a lot of baggage. Or [...] There is a fascinating (well, one man’s “fascinating” is another’s “bor-ingggg!”, but I think it’s fascinating) conversation going on over at http://graceconversation.com concerning (as you might expect) GRACE and how grace plays out (not the best choice of words I suppose) in our lives when we are mistaken about some doctrinal point or the other. This morning I heard a lecture from Dr. Ken Cukrowski at ACU about the role of women in ministry. He provided insights I have never heard before on this controversial issue. I would like to share my notes [...] We heard a new (to us) speaker in Tulsa this year: Dr. Dr. Patrick Mead. (He has two Ph.D.s — in science, not theology.)
